Responsibilities
- Design test strategy from product risk: what must be proven before release and what can be sampled.
- Build and maintain automated regression coverage on critical journeys, keeping the suite trustworthy.
- Test the unhappy paths — network loss, partial failure, concurrent use — where products actually break.
- Track defect escape rates and use them to strengthen both pipeline and requirements.
Requirements we screen for
- 3+ years in QA on web or mobile products with automation experience (Playwright, Cypress or similar).
- Ability to read code enough to write meaningful API-level tests and diagnose flakiness.
- Structured bug reports that reproduce reliably and describe impact, not only steps.
- Discipline to keep a suite honest — quarantining and fixing rather than rerunning until green.
Nice to have
- Performance testing and accessibility auditing experience.
- Exposure to CI pipelines where tests gate deploys.
