What this role area involves
Engineers focused on cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD, observability, and delivery reliability.
Responsibilities
- Define environments as code with Terraform or cloud-native tooling so they are reproducible on demand.
- Build and tune CI/CD pipelines: build once, promote the same artefact, roll back without drama.
- Instrument services with metrics, logs and alerts paired to runbooks and named owners.
- Improve delivery performance against lead time, frequency, failure rate and restore time.
Requirements we screen for
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering on AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Strong scripting (Bash, Python or Go) and infrastructure-as-code experience in anger.
- Container tooling and Kubernetes understanding, with judgement about when orchestration is not needed.
- Incident experience: you have been on call, and you write better runbooks because of it.
Nice to have
- Experience implementing DevSecOps controls: scanning, policy-as-code, image signing.
- Cost engineering practice — rightsizing, commitments, storage lifecycle.
