What this role area involves
Data engineers, analysts, ML engineers, and AI application specialists building decision-ready systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain pipelines, models and evaluation suites with tests and freshness monitoring.
- Engineer retrieval and LLM application components: chunking, indexing, structured output validation, guardrails.
- Define metrics with owners so data products are trusted instead of debated.
- Measure model quality against held-out examples and report regressions before users find them.
Requirements we screen for
- 3+ years across data engineering or applied ML, with production work you can discuss.
- Strong SQL plus a language used in data work (Python typically).
- Practical grasp of evaluation design: held-out examples, baselines, regression checks.
- Communication that lets business owners argue with definitions rather than with numbers.
Nice to have
- Experience with Airflow, dbt or equivalent orchestration tooling.
- Exposure to LLM evaluation, cost modelling and safety review practice.
