What this role area involves
Security engineers and consultants supporting assessments, cloud security, secure delivery, and compliance initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Run application and cloud security assessments, producing findings with evidence, severity and a remediation path.
- Harden identity, network and logging baselines — then write the standard so the next account inherits it.
- Wire security controls into delivery pipelines: scanning, secret detection, policy checks with named owners.
- Support client audits and tabletop exercises with artefacts that survive scrutiny.
Requirements we screen for
- 4+ years in security engineering or consulting with demonstrable assessment experience.
- Practical cloud security skills on AWS or Azure: IAM, networking, storage exposure, logging.
- Application security depth — auth/session weaknesses, injection classes, access-control failures.
- Writing that a delivery team will act on, because reports nobody action are inventory.
Nice to have
- OSCP, CEH or cloud security certification (supported, not required).
- Experience building toward SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS or HIPAA evidence.
